Event: An Introduction to Handmade Art Books

Location: College of Marin Community Education. Fine Arts Building. Room 312.

Date: April 2 – May 18, 2013

Mark's presentation notes for his course at College of Marin on handmade art books. We’ll be posting more information here as the course progresses.

It was great getting started last week with the spring bookmaking classes. This information on this post will expand with time.

Next week (4-20) we'll be working with image transfers so please be certain to bring toner-based images with you. They should be small and from a laser printer or copier. You might also bring:

  • Blender pens
  • Acrylic gel medium (gloss)
  • Something to burnish your images (spoon or bone folder)

Here is the suggested material list for the course.

More information to follow once I get back from the Grand Canyon
